For our May general meeting we heard from a board-certified health and wellness coach and former Campus Minister at St Mary’s in College Station. She spoke to us on the importance of cultivating our charisms in motherhood. She gave us tips on how to discern what our own charisms are, how they can shift and present themselves differently throughout life, and how their revelation and our acceptance of them impacts how we serve our families and communities around us.

For our April general meeting we heard from a missionary who serves as the director of recruitment for Adore Ministries. His missionary work and testimony served as a powerful reminder to us that the Lord rebukes us little by little and that the road to heaven is built on our relationship with Jesus, not perfection in getting there. He challenges us to always get back up, come back to Christ and offer the same patience and mercies to others in our lives. Hope you enjoy!

For our March general meeting we heard from a beautiful Catholic mother and writer who challenged us to ponder what God is asking of us this Lent, in whatever season we are in, and with the people He has placed right in front of us. She reminded us that Lent is an invitation to start again, and that all God really desires from us is a relationship with him - so start there! Hope you enjoy!

January’s meeting featured our annual Wise Women Panel. We were joined by four mothers and grandmothers for a Question & Answer session. SAS members submitted questions that covered a variety of topics including: kids, home, marriage, and faith. They provided amazing insight and so many practical tips! Hope you enjoy!
